Love the strides, although horizontal stripes shouldn't be attempted by everyone.

Bring back Plus Fours and argyle socks for everyone! not just twendy fixie types either *snort* *mutter*

Actually the stripes are reflective strips woven into the fabric. Normally looks like this...
