Sounds like absolute porn with so many different types of cycling represented.
Thanks for the heads up. I'll definitely be trying to make it there.
Especially like the sound of spectator friendly cyclocross, polo, trials, fixie drags and evne the chariot races. Awesome.
Chris,
I will be there on Friday probably attend after work. Tossing up whether to ride from Abbotsford or not. Do I need to book with you, it could get quite crowded in the cafe.
Looking forward to Friday.
Jack.
Hi Chris
Thanks heaps for the welcome.I get down to Melbourne a bit (not enough really) Last time i was down i took a heap of photos of various cycles and their owners and did a spread in Bicycle Network.Your town was made for cycling!! We will be coming down in two months (Jail for our puss again !!) to tour as many bike shops/cycling cafes to promote and post up posters for the Canberra Vintage/Classic ride. The human powered Cafe looks like a good start. Possible to catch up for a chat when down ?? I can also post down some posters to you if interested?
Cheers
Trevor
Hi again,
There appears to be two ways to send messages on this site!
What's the protocol: A message from My Page or a comment on the wall here?

Hi Chris,
Thank you for your message of welcome.
I guess the second best thing about a bike is that it is very environmentally-friendly... and it's always there ... ;)
Hey, Thanks for the welcome.
I found a few little group rides through my hockey club, i am hoping to join Footscray cycling club and get into Crit racing!

Thanks for the welcome Chris, good to be aboard! I'm heading off on another trip, this time to Mt Gambier and Beachport SA tomorrow, I'll post some pics of the Yuba Mundo's fully loaded for the tour. Are we mad? Yep!!

is this the same Melbourne Bicycle Film Festival you were promoting for the Human Powered Cafe or is it a different one.
Cheers, Jack.

I appreciated your welcome ... from the official welcommer!?
I'll be in Melbourne for a few weeks, shortly.
A heads-up on a few group rides, if possible ...
The Tuesday 6:30 am Fitzroy Cycles Ride from Barkly Street
and the Wednesday 6:00 am North Road Ride.
Comments?
Can't wait to see how a Melburn Roobaix works! I guess I'll be able to navigate using a mini Melb. street Directory.
