The final instalment of my three-part photo essay of images from my commute route from Point Cook to South Melbourne can be found at

These images, taken mainly on Autumn and Winter evenings on my way home from the city are some of my favourites. I think they prove what an amazing time of the year Winter can be for cycling. Provided you are equipped with sufficient lighting and reflectors to make yourself visible to other traffic (or to light the path when you leave the roads) this can be a very enjoyable time to ride. It is not so hot that you sweat yourself through within minutes, and at dusk you will be rewarded by some of the most magical views.

Some of the images, like the one on the left, were very challenging to shoot, because I have not been carrying a tripod with me. (I am thinking of making plans of carrying a DSLR and tripod with me next Winter.)
