Cycling in Melbourne Australia

For those who doubted, behold! The mighty Hasa got through its Tasmanian tour including the predominant up-and-downy bits. How do they fit so many hills on such a little island? If they squished that thing down flat I think it would probably have the surface area of WA.

Laura and her Mum make light of Bust Me Gall even in the wet:

Ah, my old spinning grounds. I've ridden Break-Me-Neck and Bust-Me-Gall many times. The third great name on the route is Black Charlie's Opening - totally politically incorrect but great Tassy history. The trucks are a bastard, even on weekends, but the scenery is worth it.

For those not on skinny tyres, and don't like narrow roads with lots of log trucks, the unsealed route down to Dunnalley and Sorrell is worth the dirt and extra distance. It's not any less hilly but the scenery is fantastic.
