The 1st Sydney Tweed Run was held today with great success.Aprox 50/60 riders
dressed in their finest tweed and riding a vast variety of classics gathered at
Town Hall. Starting with an overcast sky and slight drizzle, we had a leisurely
ride to The Rocks, stopping for a photo opportunity under the bridge. Then up to
Observatory Hill, where the sun appeared and the view inspired all onto Mrs
Macquaries Chair, then over to Centennial Park, all arriving safely, despite the
cities traffic hazards!! Time now for tea, scones and presentations. Thanks must
go to Susan,Kylie,Paul,Damian and all other helpers that made this event a
memorable one indeed and all are looking forward to next years event.
Come on Melbourne, lets see some Tweed Ride rivalry down your way .
