Cant decide between a Jamis Coda Elite and a Giant cross city 1

Hey guys,

Having difficulty making a final decision. I know both bikes are fairly different, but the Jamis feels so good  I can't rule it out!

The giant goes just as well, is a little more expensive, is lighter and is more nimble BUT the steel frame is smoother.

Does anyone know if the carbon forks on the cross city 1 are safe?

I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Yes, carbon forks are very safe.

Personally, I'd go with the steel, but that's just me.  If you have a lot of hills where you ride, you may find the ligher option is better.
