Dolphins
Hey mate, only 10k's to Bearbrass. I'll swim ahead & order two Ristrettos and a flat white.
Apparently Flipper & friends have seen fit to grace the Yarra with their presence this morning.
I recall seeing dolphins in the Derwent as a kid and wondered why the hell they would visit, considering all the Dad Facts we were told about what was pumped out at Boyer.
Anyway, three goody two-fins of the ocean world have pay a visit and isn't that nice?
There's so much bitterness & shite in the news today, although to balance things up; Interbike is in full swing.
And dolphins in the Yarra.

ahhh NSW's north coast, cool for escapes.... oh and addendum to my post up above it wasnt 89 but 87 I took that shot was captured... (read my copyright script didnt I!) ...wow how time flies like time does when you are having fun...

I've got a similar photo, taken circa 1992 at Port Macquarie, i.e.: Flipper & friends enjoying a terrific left break.

ahhh.. yes the ultimate surfers... it is one special pleasure ( like bike riding) to be on a ski or surf board and riding to shore and have one of these super surfers pop up beside you and hurl itself out of the water and race along with you in its own delight for interaction and fun... gotta go do it again !

I took this pic back in 89 at Hawks Nest, Ports Stephens, "Dolphins en masse"
k.k.k.k.k.k.k.k.k.k...etch...etch..k.k.k.k.k.k.k.k.k.k.k.....splash gotta love em..I grew up with them up the North Coast near the banana benders and often had the joy of a morning surf with them on the way... they can share a wave, every one of them, never a nasty reaction to a human presence on a board, a ski or swimming with them... why cant motorists share the road
