As of tomorrow, the days start getting longer

Today was the winter solstice in the southern hemisphere, and aren't we all looking towards longer days and less brisk mornings. Ok it depends if you like such things for starters, such as thermals, gortex, overbooties and snot rockets.

Before you know we'll be whinging about the return of 40C days and what hydrapak works best in scorching conditions.
