Nothing worse than a flat mid ride. St Kilda road is notorious for flats, come across sprinkles of glass every few hundred metres or so, they should run a street sweeper ounce a week (not going to happen).  There are no puncture proof tyres just tyres with better puncture prevention. these tyres are pretty $$ but i swear by them.Schwalbe Ultremo R1 or Schwalbe Ultremo ZX, both have a reinforced shoulders and centre strip.

Suggest you upgrade to a better tire with a Puncture proof suggest either the

1) Schwalbe Durano Plus HS 399

2) Schwalbe Ultremo DD

Probably all from the same incident....different pieces of glass take different times to work through the tyre; pull the tyre, run your finger along the inside (carefully) & remove any object you feel; inspect the outside for holes - inside the hole you may see a small piece of glass which is yet to work its way all the way through - try & remove, usually something pointy helps (wear eye protection as they can shoot out). Alternatively chuck the tyre if it's well worn. If the holes are all in the same area you might have a spoke poking through the liner & into the tube, check that the rim liner is ok. Good luck!
