Brisbane Cycle Station for Commuters to Open in June

How much would you pay for secure bicycle parking and a shower?
From June 2, 2008, the Brisbane Cycle Station will be offering these services for an undisclosed joining fee + $5 per day.

what is wrong with them?

I went for a sunday ride (30km) and had what could only be described as a game of two halves

1. driver indicates and starts to turn in to me when there rear wheel was at my front, whilst comming up to a red light

I passed her gave her "the look" and said "watch were youre going" she then pulls up next to me with the window down and says something to wich I reply watch were youre F$#%^N going

Nasty crash on the Boulevard

I saw a guy on the Boulevard this morning who had come off on one of those tight bends ... ambulance attending. Does anyone know him? Is he OK?

Hit!

Well, today I made impact with a 4WD. Or more precisely, it made impact with me.



I was coming down the hill on Queens Parade. I was coming through the intersection when the lights turned orange, there was no hope of stopping. The light turned red and I was still in the intersection. This 4WD started to go and then stopped when I came in front of it. It then decided to proceed with driving forward. It hit my baskets that I have on the rack at the back.

East Link Bike Trail

East Link Bike Trail is open now.



Yesterday, I have gone though the trail from High St to Burwood Hwy. The barrier has been removed and road cross lights are working; also the road cross for Burwood Hwy is in operating as well.



It's very nice concrete bike path, with clean surface (compare with the blind creek trail I'm riding, where I have got flat tyre once a month). After the Burwood Hwy traffic. I could all the way ride to the Heathmont without any interruption by road… Continue
