alright, i have been off my bike for a couple of years but am trying to get back on and do some training. nothing too serious at this point, but i don't know anyone oe groups to ride with. does anyone have any advice?

- 1 x resprayed 15 yr old hybrid now with road wheels and 34cm wide slicks + single front cog and rear 9 speed cluster.
1 x giant (5 yrs old) with new fulcrum wheels (see above). Tiagra group set.
- What is the best thing about riding?
- when its the right group - just enjoying thr company both on and off the roads...ooh, and busting your legs.
- A few words about yourself. (This bit is entirely optional!)
- lived in Melbourne for 10 years. used to ride on gold coast during late 90's. came down here and gave it away for a while before getting interested again. Brought a bike, but did not spend too much money as I believe there is no point spending money to buy a bike which is too good to me. Have found down here however that not all feel the same, and many look down their noses at anything under $5000. Anyway, riding with others is always preferable and if there's a social aspect off the bike all the better.
