Assertive cycling is the way to go. Bikes may be vehicles, but they are not motor vehicles and we're likely to be run off if we ride "defensively".

What you might find is more of them being more confident and riding two abreast. (I mean, legally they can now, and their taxes payed for that road just as much as yours, and their vehicles damage the road far less, but I won't go there).

- I am a bloody legend and am sick of people riding bikes in the dandenongs. I understand riding but its too dangerous on these roads, where we are lucky to fit 2 cars on. I will be starting a push for a by law to be issued. I have plenty of support in this issue.
