"Perhaps the roads were dangerous given your wifes cycling ability? Just like how some roads and conditions can be dangerous for drivers withoutout the necessary ability to negotiate them. I think you'll find that majority of cyclist who can…"

"Hey Phil when you're not so busy, come to Melbournes inner north sometime. There you'll see many kids, mums, girls, boys, oldies and anyone on bikes, all getting somewhere politely and with co-operation to and from other road users.…"

""Last year" (actually the year before now) was quite possibly the only case of its kind in the history of Australia. Trust me, I have hunted out every source of stats I have access to. This was a freak accident caused by a group of…"

"Offensive cycling will get you killed. Defensive cycling will get you marginalised. Assertive cycling is the way to go. Bikes may be vehicles, but they are not motor vehicles and we're likely to be run off if we ride…"

"What you might find is more of them being more confident and riding two abreast. (I mean, legally they can now, and their taxes payed for that road just as much as yours, and their vehicles damage the road far less, but I won't go there). I…"

"Eeyup. That's my take on it too. On the whole, I think the vast majority of road users (no matter what their vehicle) are well behaved. In my experience, it's the morons we need to be rallying against, and they can be on two wheels, or…"

"So again - how does registration make any difference? You seem to have two different arguments - don't ride in Dandenongs, and register cycles/ists/ But you merge them into the one thing - and for the life of me I can't see a link."

A few words about yourself. (This bit is entirely optional!)
I am a bloody legend and am sick of people riding bikes in the dandenongs. I understand riding but its too dangerous on these roads, where we are lucky to fit 2 cars on. I will be starting a push for a by law to be issued. I have plenty of support in this issue.
