Sorry, the Triathlete went on Evilbay months ago. Still have the wheels if anybody is looking for a cheap set of good quality 7-speed wheels. It's the only 700c wheelset I own, so they're just kind of sittin' there with no frame to fit on.

No worries Ben. If anybody else is interested, let me know. Cargo Cycle number 37 was delivered this week - another inner Melbourne buyer. They're getting out there, and we're still having fun. tim

I have a slightly unusual one on my hands that I've decided to get rid of. It might be of interest to you. It's big - 62 square by my measure - but I find it quite comfortable to ride despite technically fitting better on a 54 (~175cm with short leg…

Time to spill the beans.
The bike in my picture is a Cargo Cycles cargo bike.
Cargo Cycles is me. I'm starting a small cargo bike importing business.
Details and pricing at http://www.cargocycles.com.au

My cargo bike is neither DIY, nor a Christiania.

Christies are trikes, with a front wheel either side of the box.

This one is a bike.

It's essentially the same style as the Dutch "bakfiets" that Hielke has in his picture (and, apparently, on the slow boat from Amsterdam).

Mine is factory-built, but not in the bakfiets.nl factory like Hielke's. I'll have more to tell about my cargo bike soon...

Lots of photos of bakfietsen at http://www.flickr.com/groups/bakfiets/pool/

Hi Barefoot,

Welcome to Melbourne Cyclist!

Is that a DIY Christiana bike or the real thing?
