The Rate the Plate domain is cactus. Although Brimbank Council has a Hoon Line. Pity they didn't have a internal one for those feral councillors during the last decade or so. In all seriousness, report it to the police, as it's a traffic offense....

Have one mountain bike and one road bike. Both are older style bikes.
A few words about yourself. (This bit is entirely optional!)
It's been quite a while since I hopped on a bike, let alone one in Melbourne. I've lived in Melbourne for about 3 years now however I've been riding around Melbourne for about 2 months or so, give or take. I'm also learning how to ride in traffic which has been interesting to say the least. What started out with a bike just to get around near home has become more of a transport option for getting to work or wherever I need to. I don't have a car or license so this has provided me with a great deal of freedom.

Well, today I made impact with a 4WD. Or more precisely, it made impact with me.

I was coming down the hill on Queens Parade. I was coming through the intersection when the lights turned orange, there was no hope of stopping. The light turned red and I was still in the intersection. This 4WD started to go and then stopped when I came in front of it. It then decided to proceed with driving forward. It hit my baskets that I have on the rack at the back.
