I think the platform stops are now a re requirement, to provide ease of access to and from trams for all users.
My beef isn't with the tram stops, but the bloody idiots that design things so badly. What they have proposed won't work, there'll be co…
I went to the council meeting but gave up waiting for it to start after 2 hours. I'm also glad one person spoke out on the safety and expense issues.
There seems to be some requirement to deliver these super stops. Doesn anyone know what is driving…

I wish I had his optomism but I don't. I think it is perhaps even more dangerous to share paths with pedestrians. Anyone got any stats on that?

Sorry Sonya, I disagree. Melburnians certainly haven't got used even to the delineated path on Princes Bridge. It's quit clear which is for pedestrians and which is for bikes, but people wander allover the bike bit, so care is needed.

I'm with you 100% it's a mess that will create more conflict for cyclists, and the net result is we get labeled the "bad guy".
If pedestrians and tram passengers mix well with bikes then why are they banned from Bourke street mall?

The Cycling Show - first shoot
The weather was sooo kind to us for our first shoot at the Sustainable Living Festival. We filmed interviews with various cycling 'identities' and auditioning some potential hosts for the show.
Adriano did a fabulous job at covering all the angels with his steady camera work and recording great sound.
