A few words about yourself. (This bit is entirely optional!): I'm starting to cycle because:
1. I need to get around but do not yet have a full car license
2. I need to get fit
3. And of course, even more economical than even a diesel car!

The title is indeed indicative of how strongly I feel about my newly purchased Dahon Eco 3.

I bought the folding bicycle from St Kilda Cycles on 6 September, rushing down that evening after work from Caulfield to the store. Initially having my eyes set on the Mu Sl (approximately $1000), I was blown away by the Eco 3 when I took it for a quick ride around since they didn't have a Mu Sl already assembled.

First Ever REAL Commute!

I commuted to Knox City today to get enrolled in Medicare and replace my stolen library card. According to Google Maps the route I took (Kelletts Rd>Stud Rd>Burwood Hwy) is 6.3km. I took about 45min each way, of which I am rather proud of since I never really exercised and my knees have always given me problems while doing any form of exercise. The main thing here is that I persevered - in fact, for my return trip, I cycled 90% of the way rather than getting off to walk up every little…
