Panniers for Road Bikes

For a more elegant solution (if you have a quick-release rear wheel), try the quick release mounting kit from Tubus. Won't damage your bike and is much more capable with heavy loads. http://www.tubu

Today is Cadel Evans Day

FINALLY, Evans does something proactive in a race! Look where 'having a go' get's you Cadel. Hopefully we'll see more of the same in the future.

Hi Rob,

We have two of them, just returned from a mini tour, Melbourne to home in Central Vic on them yesterday. We purchased the original generation 1's (heavier - more agricultural) from the regional distributor (Stuart - Cargo Bikes NZ) who shipped them into Human Powered Cycles (High St) for us about 10 months ago. HPC assembled them for us because we wanted to ride them back home to central Vic. (we don't have a car!) We caught up with HPC just this last weekend and asked if they had taken their Yuba involvement any further, but it seems they're not interested.

About 4 months ago we contacted Ben Sarrazin, one of the Yuba Founders in the USA, with a view to distributing them here in Oz. He was very keen to get a distributor set up here. We got pretty close (after a lengthy and detailed look at the opportunity) to going ahead but eventually decided against it.

As far as I know, nobody else has picked up the ball even though a number of people have contacted us asking about distribution potentials.

If you find out that somebody is selling them here, could you let us know? We will eventually need spares but are also interested in on selling and repairing / modifying.

Cheers
Andy
