What sort of riding do you do ?: Commuting, Utility/Transport, Recreational, D.I.Y, Whatever

Where in Melbourne or nearby do you live ?: Soon to be a Melbourne resident, currently in Sydney

Now tell us about your bicycles ...: I have a new bike!! I've just rescued an old roadie from where she was abandoned near my work. She has no markings on the frame so I have no idea what she is but I'm going to strip her right back for a complete rebuild, aiming to have her shiny and new for the Tweed Run in June.

I commute to work each day on my Trek 7.5FX which is fitted with a pannier rack for all my work junk. She gets a spin for recreational rides too, and these days I do the shopping with her, way quicker than driving! I'm planning a bit of touring in the future and I imagine I'll take her for that.

I also have a Giant mountain bike which I bought when I was at uni but she hasn't had much use unfortunately. One of these days I'll take her to the track...

A few words about yourself. (This bit is entirely optional!): I like:

We do still have cycling issues like any large city, but on the whole, riding here is a more acceptable and happy experience. Hope to hear from you soon. ;)
