"Hey Marcus, I've been away mid week it's thrown me out a bit with planning rides with buddies. Since I'm in Mitcham I think it would be a bit too short a ride for me, I am free and do want to ride tomorrow morning though unlike you…"

"Hi Marcus, 70 K is a great distance. Last saturday I met a friend with no expectations of where we were going, how far, fast etc we ended up joining a small bunch who really challenged me with pace. 115km into dandenong hills, then St Kilda, and…"

Hi boys

Guys (Hari, Marcus) thanks so much for the interest in the sunday rides from Aqualink. I've not been online much in past few days. I have a Garmin 500, my son has the 705 with the maps, but I have the better bike! Wonder if you got to do the Eastlink ride 75K? I was pretty happy, came 2nd in female category. I have no idea what to put as average cadence for a ride, it depends on what kind of hills I do (I like the hills). Saturday rides possible in school holidays for me. Hope to hear from you…See More

"Hi I live not too far from Nunawading and will be keen to join you for the 60 -100km ride. I usually ride with a friend and will be keen to have more riders joining us. Not sure about your definition of a good pace - I average around 25- 27+km/h"

Sunday rides from Nunawading

If a 7.30 am start sounds achievable on a Sunday morning meeting in Nunawading, I would like to find some more riders who live in the area and are like me looking, for riding buddies to do 60-100 K rides at a good pace but not racing elite! I see loads of riders, alone often like me or in pairs, and small groups heading to the 1 in 20 along Canterbury Rd & Mtn Hwy, or down Springvale Rd to Beach Rd, or out towards Kinglake. Wouldn't it be more fun in a bunch? I'm new to Melb Cyclist so I…See More
