"Sorry if that sounded a bit narky Rob, but I know your position in this debate from previous postings. It says a lot about the efficacy of helmets - helmet wearing riders make up somewhere around 80% of riders but they made up 50% of deaths. the…"

"TAC figures. Of course it's hard to believe if you don't want to. When you only listen to arguments that support your a priori judgement, the facts get in the way. "Of the eight fatalities involving cyclists, 50 per cent (four) were…"

Cheap Tyre Review.

I had a $20 Duro 700c x 25mm tyre lying around so whacked it onto the commuter. 30 k's a day for about 9 weeks saw it do approx. 1300k's. I was a bit dubious about a skinny lower pressure tyre (max 100psi) - it seems to be a bit contradictory as you don't get the resilience of a higher pressure tyre, particularly as with panniers & myself on, the bike is probably around 115kg.First step was to fit it, along with a Mr Tuffy kevlar strip. No problems, the structure is noticably softer and…See More

Hi John,

I'm really sorry about the products images. My intention wasnt to do a big sell, just expressing what i'm passionate about and doing in my spare time. I think your blog is fantastic and would still like to be a part of it. Really apologise and i hope i haven't caused any harm to your blog. I will not in anyway push my product going forward.

Regards

John

Hi John, promoting my business was not my intentions. I am a biomechanist that wanted to share knowledge and discuss biomechanical issues related to cycling which I believe there are many.

I didn't find any discussion group that talk about cycling biomechanics, so i thought it is a good idea to start one, don't you?

If i offended you, Melbourne Cyclist site or its members and you feel i spam the site please let me know and i'll delete the group.
