Shame to hear about your accident and the fact that you must now use public transport for awhile. I must be lucky with bike trails, probably because I do not commute. My riding is on the weekend and usually early in the morning. The only issue I hav…

Single lane is a very positive suggestion , but it doesnt deal with the yobbo passing needs of everyone behind a wheel, we live in times where last minute rules, drivers do not leave enough time for their commute or just have to become agro wolverin…

Hmmm, I be here still!, though more country than city these days. Not that I am ignoring the goings on by the Bay either, however I'm not there much and notice a lot of others are (now) contributing which is great. IMHO Bayside City Council are stil…

Never one of the regulars but still around and still looking in. Been enjoying the capital trail commute since they stitched it all back together again (racecourse road overpass restored and now bypassing the notorious steps, merri creek section all…

Actually, I shot BV a few lines on the subject of Beach Rd, suggesting that Beach Rd needs to be made 1 lane each way its entire length and have open slather parking. It isn't adequate to be a major trunk and should be cut back to the residential st…

Good stuff Steve. One of the very active posters was RobE, I was expecting a heap of stuff from him after the residents voted down the clearway issue on Beach Road. Rob must be busy with another activity like yourself. Hope the band thing is working…

Hi Jack,
The film nights are in the rear lounge area, don't know if you saw that back in August, it's quite spacious. At the moment there's no need to book.

cheers,

Chris

Hey Jack, do you know if the overpass on Burwood Hwy near your place is open yet?
I can see it's up when I ride along the board walk but never been bothered to go and check it out.
The one over Witehorse Rd is coming along well. Pity there isn't going to be one over Canterbury Rd.. not sure why.
Cheers, Chris

hey Jack, yep Danny apparently broke his ankle while trying to attempt the fence post cycle - and it took him something like 14 goes to get it right! and then he smashed his heels on one of the street scope tricks he did when he landed after flying off a wall and then the stairs.
Tell you what - he has persistence.
It's truly incredible what practice and perseverance can achieve! I can watch it again and again!
cheers
Pip
