"Go for it. Boring.. Yes/no depends on what tunes are in your head. Faster? Much! Legally you just have to turn off at Werribee and come back through Laverton, Williamstow, Footscray or come back onto the highway via Grieve Parade for a faster ride…"

"Have ridden to geelong from the Werribee end of the bike path, road is monotonous, -only two clowns scared the living daylights out of me by tooting -lots of debris in the bike/emergency lane -you do get to see the litter on the roadside"

"Thank You Everyone For your help on this matter. I have ridden many times from Geelong to Melbourne traveling the back roads near the You Yangs. The back roads are very much quieter, and more scenic. I just wanted to try the freeway some time! Ian"
