Royal Parade crack

Royal Parade northbound is closed alongside the hole in the ground that used to be the Dental Hospital. There is a large crack, which has been said to have been caused by the building works.Signage warning of the closure is, of course, placed in the bike lane, right at a critical point for riders entering the big roundabout from Flemington Road…See More

Four Moultons - all different models, a Birdy Blue, a Birdy Anthracite, a late 80's Hillman road bike, a Dutch 3 speed, a Malvern Star delivery bike, and a few others
What is the best thing about riding?
Ease and convenience, but I wish riders would smile a bit!

Taught to ride by the vicar's daughter, on a three speed Raleigh ladies bike ...

One wheel, one plain . . .

So Sid Rajan plans to ride the Nullarbor on a unicycle.
His PR claims he will be the second person to ride the Nullarbor on a unicycle (it also claims that Perth to Adelaide is 4000km, but we won't quibble over a thousand km error, will we?)
I thought that a group did it some years back, actually, in the nineties.
So the question remains . . . why?

Traffic lights, signs, signals, they just don't work.

Waiting at the lights, facing a red, and they don't change.



And you wonder why cyclists ride against red lights.



I'd support a 'Don't Ride the Red' campaign, but the traffic lights must respond, all of them, first!



And why do lanes stop, and not restart, even when there is road room?



And don't get me started on wayfinding!
