The hills up to Belleville or Montmartre are a challenge for anyone on a 3 speed velibe, I don't blame anyone for wanting to ride down rather than up.

Not sure, mostly the hills are not too bad, but those bikes are pretty heavy! Maybe the French are just very lazy? (or smart?)

According to that doco, they're gonna give ppl extra credit if they take it to a station atop a hill. I wonder if that would be enough incentive?

Yes and your point is - what?

His PR claims he will be the second person to ride the Nullarbor on a unicycle (it also claims that Perth to Adelaide is 4000km, but we won't quibble over a thousand km error, will we?)
I thought that a group did it some years back, actually, in the nineties.
So the question remains . . . why?

Waiting at the lights, facing a red, and they don't change.

And you wonder why cyclists ride against red lights.

I'd support a 'Don't Ride the Red' campaign, but the traffic lights must respond, all of them, first!

And why do lanes stop, and not restart, even when there is road room?

And don't get me started on wayfinding!

Seen the mess that is Footscray Road recently? Someone said it is 'short term pain for long term gain'.
No, my frien… Continue
