Yeh, I think a lot of times people create their own 'bad luck' which makes it harder when people really do have bad luck.
I have had a chat to a few people with mixed reations - it's their choice whether they change their ways or not.
I suspect even…
When I used to work in the city and ride the Yarra Trail from Eltham, I found the biggest hazard was the dweebs on bike with megaphones talking to the rowers !
Hope you recover OK.
Cheers
Gee, I have never had that happen.
I had my rear wheel seize up once, snapped heaps of chains, magled a rear derailier, and of course a few punctures.
That's about it.
As for a good bike shop, one that will sell you a new bolt instead of a new seat…
I know what you mean about Steve. I'm not sure I'd want to get on the back, but I think he'd behave himself if he wanted to.
People replace seals in their mtb forks all the time; it may be different for motor bike forks though.
Mine are hydar-coil.…
Ah, well a trip to the motor bike shop to get some 5wt fork oil, pull them apart, clean, put them together, put in the new oil and they are much better. Could do with a seal kit tho.

Have a chat with Richard - he's got a bike.

Maybe I'll write about the Otway Odyssey on Monday.
Or about my sloppy bottom bracket, leaky forks, and 4 left hand brake pads I got mail order ! Grrrr!
Or... the mini front pannier for my goo bars that I ordered from China right before the postal s…
Steve, I was saying what the general attitude is, our hobby (in their eyes) is affecting their right (again in their eyes). Maybe a little sarcastic of me.
I ride for a hobby and transport. I also have a car with a blown head gasket which still wor…
Hi Chris,
hope you are well.
I did not get a chance to ride last weekend so I don't know if it is finished yet. I can see some structure slightly protruding down from the middle and the earth beneath has been cleared they may be putting a support column there but not sure.
Cheers, Jack.
I am going to try and get some vision of the ride up Mountain Highway this weekend. After that I think Lysterfield may be my next video. Will there be some good shots at Lysterfield and will I need to pay an entry if I just ride in for a tour of the park.
