Hi all, I work for an electric bike business that has 4 dealers in Melbourne. In my research on electric bikes I've found that a lot of people love ebikes, but some are really worried about certain…Continue
I am disabled and use an electric scooter (modified two wheeler) to get around plus I have two electric bikes. One is a foldable with 12inch wheels that probably would not work well as a (push) bicycle but it OK for my purposes -…"
Great to hear about your riding and the results you're getting from this. I'm going to create a meetup group soon and will let you know regarding future events. I know what you mean with using the throttle. I got around this…"

What is the capacity of your battery pack? My electric bike sounds like similar performance to your friend's bike. I easily get 30km/ hour plus going up any hill, etc. Oliver's Hill, Mount Martha, etc. My bikes have 2 electric…"
"Mine was just under $1000. I plan on getting some heat shrink and tidying up the wiring and maybe putting some silicone in the holes. But it's a bit disappointing considering it's brand new, particularly when you consider…"
"How much did you pay for the bike, David? If I may ask :-) I've ordered kits and built my own ebikes. This way I can seal the wiring better, e.g. all the connectors go into plastic boxes from Jaycar Electronics and I can seal these boxes myself…"

Hi I am buying a cargo bike an e-bike version. I have a 30k daily commute to school, remember we go 4 times on a daily school run. I am deciding between the Christiannia 2 wheel cargo it has a rear hub motor and apparently rides well with no battery assist. Any thought on the rear wheel motor? I am deciding between the cargocycles (China) long Zeifeits which has the more common front wheel hub motor? Now I am a bike rider for 40 years + experience and am just sick of the car trip, and its not engaging with the environment and community for me. there is a big price difference of about $2,000.00 I will go the expense if I can understand the difference....There is lots of information about box bikes but i want the info on the e-version...any comments will hep me make a decision...thanks
