I wear a Kathmandu themal singlet under my long sleeved jersey, has been perfect thus far. When very cold, or wind chill a problem, I chuck on a windproof/water resistant (Sugoi) lightweight jacket without the sleeves.
Not what I'd call hilarious, but gentle, insightful and identifiable. I, too, find the cycling option simplest, even when the driving option exists. Driving in Melbourne is such an act of desperation :-)

Biggest bunch of idiots IMO aren't actually amongst the dedicated trail users, but some of the riders southbound on St Kilda Road in the afternoon peakhour. The ridiculous bullshit that occurs from each set of lights, not too mention between lights…
