Rob is the Indian Bicycle Shop a regular store that is open every day? I can't believe I have never heard of it, and so close to home as well!

Just to get a bit of salivating going , have a look at some of these stylish bicycles from Denmark...some of the riders are pretty stylish too !

well it looks a bit like one, but no, it's in fact from India, it's an Avon, who were once (I'm told) an English company from Sheffield, they ultimately, the Brit factory closed, but in 1952 the Indian one got a start up independently and is still in the same Indian company's hands and is one of the worlds largest manufacturers of bicycles by number and range...
Its an AB Classic, I got it from the Classic Bicycle Shop in St Kilda, I ride it often, its a single speed (48/16) with lever brakes and a huge saddle, very comfy and it can scoot along as long as I am up to it!... I will bring it to the Ride of Silence on Saturday in my wish to show embrace diversity and inclusion on the day. R
