I think Victorian Police should form special bike team to bust these thief. I have seen video in UK, where police put bike decoy to catch the thief.
Should government put official registration on all bikes?

My Black, Reid Bike's Condor flat bar road bike was stolen between 3:30 and 4:30pm Easter Sunday. I have only had it 3 weeks, so it really hurts! It was locked up at a bike rack on the corner of Swanston St and Elgin street, near the Melbourne university. Any help finding it is appreciated!

2008 Kona Shred stolen May 30 2011. Stolen off Swanston St in the middle of the day with my lock and helmet left in a bin just down the road.

Hi people, My early 1960's BATES stepthrough was stolen recently from East Brunswick. Its such an eye catcher I'm sure someone will see it. Metallic gold with a stunning original pinstripe finish. Silver braided gear and brake cables. Black with silver fleck handle bar grips. 5 speed. One of the tidiest BATES i have ever seen.
