I got out to Buxton the other day and loved it. Hard core riders might call it a freeway. I'd call it "nice XC". Great berms and some really fast flowing downhill sections. About 17k for the sequence of trails that I did. Then I stopped off at "The Igloo" roadhouse in town for a burger with the lot to top the morning off. Worth the drive out there.

Handled it on ss but done 4 footers on that bike. some b-lines are smaller jumps (double dimond up to 3 foot). Made to ride one way.

No.  I've not tried it.  Is serious downhill, or a dceclind cross-country?

Has anyone done the new down hill track at lysterfield, did it today. A long time since a track like that has been there.

Well I didi it. 95km in the rain and mud in just over 7 hours.
10th in my class - solo unskilled old bastards
Brake pads wore out about half way.

If you've been thinking about MTB racing then come and check this out on Sunday.
Lysterfield - parking will be crap at Hallam Nth Rd though.. enter somewhere else and ride to where you can see the action.
