not too sure if its been tried, but why don't they block the outside lanes off to traffic on subdays?

Comment by Richard Teirney on August 19, 2012 at 6:54pm: Ok, so Saturday was not such a good day for riding, this was confirmed when the keeper nut came off some time during my ride without me noticing, then about 5km to home my left crank fell off!!! Bikes now at turning point for repairs and I missed Sundays good weather for a ride, oh such a crazy weekend. All going week with getting my bike back on the road is anyone going for a ride along the bay? Preferably starting from Mordialloc.

I also do a ride every Tuesday and Thursday starting at 5.15am from Chelsea to Brighton , stop at Blackrock on the way back for coffee and then head back to Chelsea. So if you or anyone else interested to join on a weekly basis now that spring is round the corner , all welcome ! cheers John
