Really - does it make THAT much difference? Coz the 14" ones go for a LOT less on fleabay. And some of the uber=$ brands have 14" so they can't be that bad.

I've noticed a lot of the YEAh folders on ebay at the moment. According to YEAh, they share a lot of the Dahon "technology"

Strida's are going for about $850 as well. and heaps of them at the moment. Wish I had $850 spare
Yeah! he he

I'd like to ride a strida, to see what they're like. Part of why I'm thinking folder (apart from the folding aspect) is coz many are 'step thru'. But then, I'm also looking at vintage step thrus too.

N+17 is the only answer, methinx.
These bikes come out of the same factory :)
As do the Aldi one's I'm informed. But the groupsets aren't as good.
OK - as U can see by my pix, I got me one. (Or more-correctly, got SWMBO one... but I'm sure I'll use it semi-often coz it's just so damn convenient, and she's 7mth pregnant atm).

So... Schwalbe Big Apples. Anyone....? Anyone...? (Anne Jovi, perhaps)
Oh yeah - Folders just love Big Apples.
They're reflecto too... yeah?
Oh yeah!

And fast rolling with built in suspension.
Looks roughly the same vintage as the Dahon I acquired a few months back, but yours is a much funkier colour. It's a really fun bike.

Mine is currently rolling on whatever it is that was on the bike when I got it, but I reckon when it comes time for new rubber it'll be something like the Big Apple. And yeah, those reflective side walls are great.
'Funky' is one word for it... :S

Let's just say not the colour I would've picked if I'd bought it new...
Well, if you're going to ride something like that, you might as well stand out from the crowd.
Generally, not much of an issue for me ;)
