Hi all

I'm a piano/keyboard player and also road cyclist. Keen to be involved in future.

Hi, I'm new to cycling but have fallen in love with it, I've played the flute in church for a while and would love to get involved playing more varied music as well.  Best thing about the flute is its easy to transport.

In a nutshell, "I'm in!"

The backroom in our cafe is almost finished if you'd like a small venue, contact Steve on the site details if you've interested

I gather from the US festival site that they set up, play, then up-stumps and move on to the next venue by bicycle. Does this mean it's sort of guerilla busking? As in play a bit then move on before you're asked to move on while being given a ticket, or is the idea to be more formal and have approvals for one or more sites?

Well, I can perform a solo set of original folk/rock/blues if the guys in the band are too laz... er, not interested ;-)

Is there a date and venue set? My next three months are all wrapped up in work, learning 40+ (25 in a hurry) songs for the band I've just joined and then getting married. I should be able to some limited, volunteer level help by about late April. The band might be available for gigs by late April, too.

Ooops sorry, "Kirsten" should read "Kristen", damn my fat fingers!

Thanks for the invite, Kirsten. A BMF would be a great thing. Just got back from a visit to Hobart a week back and down there at the Mona Foma festival they have a bicycle ensemble where the instruments are fused with the bicycles. Didn't get to see that because it was the day after I came back but it looked intriguing. I play bass and guitar BTW.

What a remarkable doodad. I've already put my hand up for it as much because I want a go on it as anything else.

Am I invited?

Is anyone interested & forming an ensemble for this vehicle?
