Deca Dash Reconnaissance Ride from Shepparton Cycling Club on Vimeo.
Yesterday afternoon a few club members (the Mexicans) went and checked out the DECA track to make sure everything is good to go for Sunday's first DECA DASH. You can watch their reconnaissance ride here to see what the DECA track is all about. Thumbs up was the verdict from the boys who can't wait to hit it out on Sunday. If you aren't racing still feel free to come out and have a look at this fantastic track. DECA has plenty of potential for hosting more local races in the future.
Really hope to see as many 51'ers at Deca in the future. Let's bring local racing back!
Hey Rob Shirls had matching kit with drink bottle the works this morning. You might need to lift your game mate?
Nev was as skanky as ever.
good work SCC!
Morning all.Be great to see some Area51 action on Sunday if anyone is available.I know it's very last minute but better late than never. If we get good interest then I would really hope to be able to run DECA races as frequently as possible. Our area is really lacking in local racing (unless you count Wednesday and Friday bunch rides as a race....) so the more riders interested the more chance we will have of making DECA a home ground for frequent local racing. We will be running the first criterium this Sunday the 4th of May. It’s a completely closed circuit and the races are short and sharp.Junior racing will start at 9:00am.Seniors will start at 10:00am with B Grade (35min + 1 lap) and A Grade (40min + 1 lap)Seniors note. Due to unknown numbers attending, please arrive at 10:00am so you can choose which grade you would like to race on the day.Entry Fee is $1.00. Current Cycling Australia license needed. If you don't have a license you can purchase a single ($35) or three race ($50) pass on the day. If you can't make it this Sunday we will also be running another DECA DASH on Sunday May 24.FACEBOOK EVENT DETAILS HEREFor any more information please contact Daniel Bovalino on 0400232920 or email to firstname.lastname@example.org
