Cycling in Melbourne Australia
We meet every Sunday at 08.45am for a ride starting at 9am at Cafe Racer. Riding along Beach Road, [about 25-35km/hr] to Mordy/Frankston. We also do other rides around Melbourne including Climbs (7 peaks), Organised rides (MAD, BAD, Otway, ATB, etc) and MTB . Riding and enjoying a laugh is the focus, so make sure you bring your sense of humour!! Oh, ensure your bike and kit are clean/well maintained - don't want any unnecessary accidents. *If you want to join 9ers, your request will be accepted, but you'll need to do at least 2 rides each month for your membership to be maintained :)

Comment by Heather on March 14, 2012 at 5:13pm Hi Andrew, always interested in new comers, we were all that once, and still are wind dependant - see you Sunday!!!
Comment by Andrew Crisp on March 14, 2012 at 5:10pm Interested in a new comer - normally I ride a mountain bike St Kilda to Black Rock But just purchased a Flat Bar Road - was averaging 18-20kms on the Mountain Bike so I am unsure what speed I would be doing (all wind dependent)
Comment by Kristin Goransson on March 14, 2012 at 4:18pm I'll be there as well :-)

Comment by Alexander Langman Hender on March 14, 2012 at 2:04pm Ah ha! So not rotational but lift :D Headset not buggered then; that's good news. Integrated headstem? I'll probably just have to have a look.
I should be out on Sunday - been flat out the last few weekends so looking forward to it. Might even ride the fixie for a change.
Tenax is going well. Lots of noobies coming along and kicking ass. Very satisfying to see.
Comment by Heather on March 14, 2012 at 1:57pm Hi Alex, yeah they don't 'raise'. I was going to lift them up a cm or so just for the Otway (for comfort), but they're fixed, as is the seat. Oh, I'm talking about the Ridley. If you're riding on Sunday you might want to take a look? How's the Tenax going?
Comment by mark divonski on March 14, 2012 at 1:57pm guys,

Comment by Alexander Langman Hender on March 14, 2012 at 1:48pm Handlebars don't move?
Is your headset done up too tight or something?
Comment by Heather on March 14, 2012 at 1:45pm Hi Bob, TFM fantastic as usual :) Handlebars don't move, but that's cool - I'll still take it on the Otway - it's lighter and I think I'll need all the help I can get !!!
