Taking Action

Hey all

You may notice a couple of changes today to the Nav bar. I've condensed things a little so a lot of the links now live under "Community".

Another thing I've added is a new page called "Take Action". This is an idea I've had for a little while for this site (as well as Sydney and Brisbane).

As cyclists we spend a lot of time waiting for other people and / or organisations to advocate for us. A lot of people would like to do more but are a little unsure about the best way to go about things. At the same time, there ARE a number of small groups and projects around that are doing good things and could use help, I want to find these groups and help connect people with them. 

This will make it easier for people to be able to help with cycling advocacy by being pointed in the right direction of what needs doing.

Ironically, it's BNA who are taking the lead on the first action I'm featuring. The Bike Budget rally on the 21st is something that everybody should get along to and show your numbers. So go read the link and get out and show your support.

Going forward, this is where I need your help. If you've got a group or a project who are doing something towards cycling advocacy and need people, get in touch with me because I want to help spread the word and connect people!
