Sunday or weekday rides near Warrandyte

Hi

I have been road riding for about 5 years and ride almost every day. I have joined a club but they tend to go out for a full day and I don't always have the time. I am interested in hearing from anyone who wants to come riding around the Warrandyte area (I go out to Whittlesea, Yarra Glen, Kinglake) either on weekdays or Sundays. I usually ride about 50-60 kms and for about 2-3 hours, depending on what time I have and how long I stop for coffee! I'm not a competitive person, just want to stay fit and enjoy riding.

I also have a good bike rack for the car (it can take two bikes) so sometimes drive somewhere a bit further afield and ride from there.

If you'd like to come out for a ride please let me know.

Hi Everyone

Thanks so much for all the posts. Is anyone free this Friday (Dec 2)? We could meet at the Warrandyte Bakery at 9.00am and ride to Yarra Glen & back via Kangaroo Ground. Anyone who isn't up to the whole ride (or may not have time) could go to Watson's Creek and then turn back.

The weather forecast looks good at present.

I'm another keen cyclist to ride in numbers. I'm available Sat and Sun to ride and going out of the city is my preference and the Yarra Valley/Kinglake area sounds perfect.

Well hopefully we will get a chance to all meet up this weekend or next. I was keen to go out yesterday but had too many functions on. Today is gorgeous and I'm stuck inside!

Hi Everyone

Well I know everyone is busy with Christmas so close but I am wondering if anyone wants to come out this Friday morning (Dec 16)? I thought I would head over to Hurstbridge (from Warrandyte) or from Hurstbridge to Whittlesea and back.

I'll be leaving at 9.00. Anyone free? The weather is supposed to be good...

Hi Kerri,

I have to be in Malvern by 11... can drive if need be (I live in Surrey Hills, and it's about a 15 min drive from there) but can ride before that if it's not too early for you! Or alternatively, I can ride partway with you and turn back.
