Cycling in Melbourne Australia

Solway Bridge washed away.

The Solway St bridge was washed away a bit after midnight last night and is now impassable. There is also damage to the path along the Gardiners Creek Trail, next to the Malvern Valley Public Golf Course, beside Gardiners Creek. However that can be circumvented.

Please let Stonnington Council know that you would like to see the bridge replaced as soon as possible.

Also you can forget about riding on Eastlink trail for a couple of days also with Dandenong creek trail and the Blind Creek path along Knox at High St. (Eastlink from about Wantiran Rd) and all the underpasses to Dandenong.anlong the Dandenong Creek path.
