Melbourne Cyclist

Cycling in Melbourne Australia

hello there,
ok, ok. I know its a little cheeky to post here..

were doing organic veggie boxes...

all the veg is locally sourced within 150km's of Melbourne and are organically certified.

boxes come in a range of sizes $30, $35 or $40. And can either be collected
from Brunswick east on a Saturday or alternatively delivered locally
for a additional $10. (email for other prices on delivery)

Each box has a great selection of in season veggies and occasional fruit.  And all veggies come with free dirt and
the occasional bug.  This is the real deal, un washed and un polished.

also we stock, bio dynamic locally produced dairy

yoghurt $10 a kg (+ $1 deposit on the container)
bath milk $ 2.50 a litre (+ $1 deposit on the container)
fetta $ 10 for 300 g
cream $4 for 330 ml (+ $1 deposit on the container)

The included photograph is a example of a $30 box. The boxes will vary from
week to week in what they have , this is because it is picked fresh and
not stored or transported for weeks.

Damn, you've made me hungry now ;-) At least cyclists are a well-targeted demographic for organic vegies :-)

Not quite in our area, but I'll discuss it with my partner. We have a weekly trip to Burnley for my band rehearsals so Brunswick's not too much further to go on a mandatory car trip if it gets us good veg for a good price.

well yes thats true Steve and why i thought it would be nice to post on this site,

Im pretty much bike dependent and know the value in a good feed and fresh dairy for the belly and muscles.

Just have word from the moo farmer to, she will be making, ricotta , haloumi and camembert in the next few weeks. very nice..

As far as coming this side, we are only doing pick ups on saturday's (the day the farmer drops it off)

cheers

What do you play, Steve?

Bass guitar. Just joined a recently formed covers band, TSix. Classic rock (Stones, Bowie and Dire Straights as examples) and classy euro-pop. (Del Amitri, Paulo Nutini and James also as examples.) Very drivetime friendly playlist.

So no Cannibal Corpse or Psychic TV covers?

No Easybeats? Kinks? Yardbirds? C'MONNNN!

Tending well towards my performance experience of the last 20 years.

A change is as good as a holiday.

Damn, a thread hijack, I hate it when something I say causes that.

What hijack? The thread was already spam. This convo is more interesting, anyway.
