Cycling in Melbourne Australia

Melbourne Cyclist meetup, 2nd August (I'll be there)

Hey all

I'm going to be in Melbourne over the weekend of the 1st and 2nd of August for a work thing. Saturday is booked up, but I have a few hours from around 12 on Sunday. My plane leaves at 5pm.

Anyone keen for a meetup ? Pub lunch, afternoon beers or something ?
I'd say a ride but I'm not going to be able to bring a bike with me this time.

I'll be staying in the Docklands area, but I'm prepared to go anywhere relatively central, as long as I can get to the airport in time.

Anyone keen ? I'm open to ideas. I hear there's a bike themed cafe opening soon... do they open Sunday afternoons ?

Permalink Reply by ChrisS on July 17, 2009 at 8:42pm: Sounds like a ripper idea Damian, there's a few cafes around Docklands but if you'd like to travel up to Thornbury (which is theoretically quicker to Tullamarine) there is indeed a bicycle cafe. It doesn't open on Sundays but I can have a discreet word to the owner. ;); ▶ Reply to This
