Main Yarra Trail - Burnley Harbour - 3 Week Christmas Reopening
CityLink would like to advise that the Main Yarra Trail at Burnley Harbour will be reopened over the Christmas works shutdown period for 3 weeks.
The Trail will be opened by 4.00pm on December 17th 2010 and remain so until 9.30am Monday 10th January 2011. It will then remain closed with the detour between Barkly Avenue and Mary Street remaining in place until Friday 11th March 2011.

Have I missed something? I commute on this route (the last time was coming home about 12noon on December 17th; it was closed then) and I rode it this morning and it was closed. Has it been reopened at all?

Unfortunately we were not able to reopen over the break due to a delay in the works - I did post this information on the 16th December but due to the timing it may have been easy to miss. My apologies for any confusion caused.

The path is still not open and I doubt it will be, well let's see if it really will be march 11 they are already well over due!
