Cycling in Melbourne Australia

Looking for people to ride with - am a beginner.

I live in clifton hill and have been riding on my own but would really like to start riding with other people. I am a beginner. Keen to meet up with other beginners and learn some new routes. I have been riding the capital city trail and not much else!

Hi Simone, there must be somebody down your way.

There are various "BUG" groups around Bicycle User Groups.

I haven't had anything to do with them but I have met plenty of people who go on their rides.

From Clifton hill you could follow the Yarra trail all the way up to Mullum Mullum trail (Sort of Park Orchards) and stop at Beasleys Nursery for a coffee (take a bike lock).

Or Cross the foot bridge at Eltham and head to Diamond Creek.

Probably not what you're looking for but there is a night ride coming up in your area too,
