Looking for a Riding Partner
I am based in Geelong am looking for a riding partner. I ride a Hybrid Fuji Crosstown. I try to ride every other day. But i get bored riding alone.

Hi Peter, hope you find some activity in Geelong. I am probably in the same boat as you out in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne. I have thought about finding some groups or other people to head out with but realise that my riding times are so spasmotic it would be difficult to fit in with others.
One of my gripes is that most of the groups out here are not exactly local eg. The closest BUG rides start off from Boxhill which for me is a decent ride just to get to the start anyway.

I know what you mean Jack. Sometimes I think I could just post a ride at a regular time and starting place. If I'm the only one there it will be no change to how I usually ride.. Some others may turn up.
There is ice everywhere outside this morning; I might leave my ride for an hour or so...

Hi Chris, my sentiments exactly; I did what you have mentioned: I set up my own group in November last year and it's gone from strength to strength - I was riding on my own too - check The 9ers Group on this site to see how it can work for you!! Do it, post a ride, Heather :)
