Cycling in Melbourne Australia
Hi I'm a 32-yo gal who got my road bike in December. Love love love it!
Desperate to meet up with peoples closer to home for rides, either causally or as a regular group to build my riding experience and to meet like minded people.
Except i work funny hours.
Anyone out there? I have only found one group in the Knox area and, no offence, but they are more mature gentlemen who usually meet up when i'm working anyway.

Hi there
I am more than happy to lead a ride in the hill on a saturday or sunday. Know the hills well can try to tailer it to whom may want to come.

Permalink Reply by Brendan Edwards on April 20, 2012 at 4:19pm Hi, there is a riding group at Lysterfield Lake every Wednesday night at 6:30pm at the Trailmix cafe. There is usually up to 40 people who go and they split up into the speedsters and the social ride. You need good lights though to do this. Their number is 8790 4402. The rides free
Bicycle Superstore at Knox is also doing social rides. They do a Lysterfield ride on the Sunday, a road bike ride on Saturday mornings from 7am - 9am, and a bike path ride on Tuesday nights at 6pm which you need lights for. Their phone number is 9887 0073, again the ride is free.
Hope this helps
