Cycling in Melbourne Australia

Im trying to regain some fitness and have been cycling around the Yarra trails from Eltham. It would be great to do a regular ride with one or two others. Id put myself in the category as recreational enthusiast. Can anyone give me any pointers?

G'day Stephen, I ride around Eltham a little bit.
I usually go up to Christmas Hills area on my MTB and also cruise up to Diamond Creek on the bike track with my kids.
The ride up to Beasleys Nursery is good too.
Most of my recreational rides are very sporadic and when I get a chance or when the kids get ready..
Most of my riding is a semi-commute along the Eastlink trail on a single speed MTB.
