Cycling in Melbourne Australia

We are sick and tired of riders riding in the hills of the Dandenong Ranges. It is far too dangerous. Specially when you cant fit 2 cars on the road.
Also why do they not let the cars pass them. there are plenty of places to ride, these hills are not one of them.
I will be starting a push to make the local council outlaw this.
It is ridiculous and these people are selfish.
I will talk further about this issue. I must go now

I'll tell you what's infuriating....taking the time out to feed a troll and they don't come back!

Common Phil....din dins.....
never feed the trolls

Now I feel dirty :-(
does your dome make you aerodynamic??? oh also say something intelligent and see if you can shut them up
Oooooo, such a rapier wit!

I'm off to make popcorn.
My dome does make me more aero and simulates the feeling of wind in the hair while wearing the helmet (long hair clogs the helmet vents) forced on me by a law designed by drivers for the benefit of drivers.

Phil, seriously, my comment about motorists only noticing cyclists that do wrong, while not noticing the majority of us who do the right thing, wasn't entirely intended to feed a troll. However, the rest of what I said was and I question the intelligence of walking into a virtual bike bar and dissing all of the occupants for something done by somebody probably not even here.

If a black man robbed you, would you call all black men thieves? It's an act of passive/aggressive bigotry to come here and take a dump on all cyclists because of the actions of a few bad apples.

So, the only conclusion I can draw is, you're not so concerned about cyclist safety as the 2 second delay the odd cyclist causes you, or worse, for the paint you might scratch from your car if you hit a cyclist.
dont let 1 bad apple ruin the bunch hey?? well it must have been a bad season coz im lucky to find one good one,
If two cars won't fit, get rid of them. Get a bike instead and you won't need so much room.

Selfish is right - that would be drivers who won't share the road.
I have a rather wide circle of friends in the community here, from all walks of life, and not 1 of them disagrrees with me.
Cycles should be registered.
Bicycle riders being registered isn't going to happen. Waffle on all you like on this forum, but none of the relevant State or Federal regulatory authorities are remotely interested. Neither are any of the political parties.

Interestingly, I know plenty of people out in the hills too and most of them know how to use spell check.
smart arse hey??
