Coming to Melbourne for Melburn Roobaix!
Hey all
So yesterday I signed myself up for Melburn Roobaix. As it happens it's the day after my work conference so I'll already be in Melbourne, just have to limit my drinking and get to be early!
Now I just have to figure out bringing my bike down, I'm sure that's doable, just will annoy the person booking my flights :)
Also, I have no idea what I'm getting myself into!!

You will have a ball Damian, I was hoping to interview some Melbourne Cyclist participants on the day. If you get stuck for a bike maybe the Melb Bike hire freebies will be on again.
By the way last weekend registrations hit 1040 and then the counter was removed so I have no idea how many more have registered. If you add to the number some of the hangers on then the event will be massive.

Yay! I am doing this as well - have no idea what I am in for but was talking to Andy at Fyxo about it briefly and he said the bike hire deal was on - I will getting one of those blue beast hire bikes! Hoping to convince a few more people from here to come along for the fun as well - we should do a Melbourne Cyclist meet up or something?

Oh, doing it on a blue bike. That could be fun, would certainly make the logistics easier. Do many people do it on those ?

I reckon there was about a dozen last year? It's my fall-back option this year, as I had a ball on it! It was really only on the speedy bits that it let me down.
And holding back on your drinking the night before? :S You'd be bucking the trend of most of the people rocking up on the day then ;)
