Cafe Racer, say goodbye and hello to the skateboarders.

For those of you that love having a coffee/eat on a break at Racer in St Kilda, just a headsup the council has approved a skatepark for directly opposite on Marine Pde. There's nowhere else around that sells drinks etc, so good luck trying to get anything once the place is overrun by skaters. How is this a bad thing? It's more people getting out and riding, be it skateboard, scooter or BMX, at least they're out enjoying themselves and staying fit...stop being a sour puss because it happens to be near a cafe you stop at on your rides.

And FYI, skaters and BMX are, by and large, dero cheapstakes, they buy a 1.5 litre bottle of soft drink from the super market and a pie from the bakery, they don't hang out at over priced cafes.

I think Sally is probably a secret shredder - I suspect this means she will be able to bring the Vans out of the cupboard - just to fit in with the new clientele.

Anyway its a natrual compliment anyway - no shredder gets out of bed by 9am by which timemost us have had our 2 lattes, shot blacks and fruti toast and are on the way home - or at work.
