Or not. In Oregon, a man was convicted of a hit and run offence involving a cyclist. The defence? He didn't see the cyclist. The victim? A pedicab driver in an orange rabbit costume.
I actually designed it to fit with a helmet, added a extra few inches to fit around. One was younger & sillier back then, and it's not really for wearing in the warmer months
Hmm, curious what a twept is?
And if I get a chace I'll dress up and go for a ride on the weekend and get one of my girls to take a pic.... but can you handle it?
SMIDSY (Sorry Mate I Didn't See You) is part of the inherent psychology of driving. I did a mild one in my partner's car last night. (Very embarrassing! Didn't "collect" him, but more thanks to his wits than mine.)
Driving safely, requires much higher levels than conscious attention than even cycling does because you're cut off from the outside world. People take it too lightly, and get focused on "avoiding cars", forgetting other potential "conflicts".
The twit driver didn't expect to see a bunny on a bike, so didn't. He was driving on autopilot. Driving is a lot more dangerous to the community than even many road safety experts realise.
