Permalink Reply by 12 Apostles MTB Classic on June 18, 2012 at 11:35am You've obviously been checking out our website. But yes our event is desgined for riders of all levels and abilities. There are three event categories which we will split riders into - Open, Masters and Elite. So we really do encourage mountain bikers of all stages to give it a go.
Permalink Reply by Gemma Thorn-Bolt on June 19, 2012 at 11:55am How do registrations work with the categories? Do we get to select which category we want to be in or are we allocated categories at the event?
Permalink Reply by 12 Apostles MTB Classic on June 19, 2012 at 1:36pm Great question. It's at the riders discretion really. You can either register online or by downloading the hard copy form - with both options you simply just check the box or circle which category you wish to compete in.
However during the event the management team does have the right to change a rider's category depending on their performance.
